The Human Race returns to Hacienda this Saturday May 8, 1999. The event is a special opportunity to support both The Volunteer Center and local charities through participation in a variety of racing activities.

Human Race Events
The Human Race consists of sanctioned 5K and 10K running and walking courses. In addition, special family functions to be held at the 1999 event include a 1-mile Family Program and Community Faire. Entertainment, food, beverages and booths will round out the program. The event will begin and end off of Rosewood Drive near the CarrAmerica Corporate Center and Wal*Mart.

Event Details
Registration for the Human Race will occur from 7:00 am to 8:00 am and the race events will take place from approximately 8:00 am to 10:00 am. While partial lane closures will be in effect on many streets during the Human Race to accommodate participants, all Hacienda projects will have access at all times. Drivers are asked to be courteous to course monitors as they will be holding traffic as runners traverse intersections.
