The City of Pleasanton is inviting all local businesses to attend a free Emergency Preparedness Workshop. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Oracle located at 4500 Oracle Lane, Building G.

LEAP Business Recovery Training
LEAP (Local Emergency Action Plan) is a free partnership program between the City of Pleasanton and local businesses and non-profit organizations to ensure continuity of business and service operations immediately following a local emergency or disaster. A LEAP training workshop is being held from 8:30-11:00 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Oracle in Hacienda. The workshop will include a continental breakfast and registration followed by a presentation on developing a business recovery plan, then a tabletop exercise that will help participants understand the importance of preparing a business for emergencies and the possible consequences resulting from a disaster.
