The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority wants to talk transit with you to help shape the future of transit in our region. You can participate by attending a commuter outreach meeting in Hacienda on March 29, 2007.

Commuter Outreach Meeting
The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), operator of the Wheels bus system, is hosting an open house to review future service plans and projects. Join LAVTA and provide your input on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the CarrAmerica Cafe located at 4400 Rosewood Drive from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm to learn about LAVTA's Short-Range Transit Plan. The Short-Range Transit Plan lays out the strategies for meeting the areas transportation and livability goals. Highlights of the meeting will include presentations on LAVTA's Short-Range Transit Plan, future projects, local service plan review, frequent service lines and transit-oriented development projects.

Help Shape Local Transit
If you can't make the outreach meeting, LAVTA would still welcome your input. Give them your ideas and preferences online by taking a transit survey at: www.wheelsbus.com/srtp/survey. You may also phone in your suggestions to the Planning Hotline at (925) 455-7562.
