The Dublin/Pleasanton BART station has the highest number of incidences of demagnetized BART tickets on the entire BART system. A BART ticket that has become demagnetized is no longer usable on the BART system. It's simple to care for your BART ticket to avoid delays demagnetized tickets cause.

Demagnetized Tickets
BART tickets and any type of magnets do not mix. Be sure to store your ticket away from common items that may contain magnets and cause your ticket to become demagnetized. Be BART smart and keep your tickets separate from: bag/jewelry clasps, mobile phones, and personal electronic devices such as PDA's and MP3 players.
