2009 Start! East Bay Heart Walk
Help support the fight against cardiovascular diseases and stroke and join in a local Heart Walk. On Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm a Heart Walk will be held at Snow Park in Oakland, and on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am a Heart Walk will be held at the Danville Livery and Mercantile. Start! is the American Heart Association's program which encourages all Americans to take up walking and other healthy habits as part of their daily routine to live longer, stronger lives. Heart disease and stroke are the number one and three killers of women and men.
