PAINT THE TOWN

The Museum on Main would like to invite you to paint the town with them on June 6, 2009. All proceeds from the event will benefit projects being undertaken by the Museum on Main.

Calling All Artists
The Museum on Main is inviting artists of all ages and levels to participate in a daylong community event to Paint the Town on Saturday, June 6, 2009. The event will begin at 9:00 am when artists bring their supplies to the Museum on Main to receive an information packet and box lunch. Artists will then go out to paint their views of the area and return their completed "wet" painting by 3:00 pm. Art becomes the property of the Museum on Main and 12 pieces will be chosen for the 2010 museum calendar. From 4 pm to 6 pm all art will be on display at a silent auction. A no-host wine bar, beer and refreshments will be available at the reception. The Museum On Main Street is operated by The Amador-Livermore Valley Historical Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to linking the past to the future by preserving, clarifying and disseminating information about history specific to this region.
