The Caledonian Club of San Francisco will hold its 144th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games this labor day weekend. The Games are the world's largest celtic festival.

The Games
The 144th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games will be held Labor Day weekend, September 5th and 6th, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. Enjoy a plethora of cultural and entertainment activities at this annual event. Festivities include six stages of traditional Scottish and Celtic Rock Music and dancing, living history re-enactments, a Birds of Prey exhibit, sheep dog trials, Gathering of the Clans, the 35th U.S. Invitational Heavy Events and World Celtic Hammer Championships, British and American food and much more. Be sure to stay for the closing ceremonies each day as the Scots Guards, fresh from duty at Buckingham Palace, will be performing with the 45-piece U.S. Marine Band.
