Join the Tri-Valley Herald, Valley Times and San Joaquin Herald for their 2010 Book Buck$ Family Reading Program. This award-winning family newspaper literacy program gets kids into a daily reading habit while rewarding them with Book Buck$ at the end of the week.

Book Buck$ Anewsment Park
From March 1-5, 2010 reading will pay off for children participating in the 2010 Book Buck$ Anewsment Park program. This year 40,000 local students, siblings and their parents will be venturing to an Anewsment Park featuring thrilling attractions and fun for all ages.  Each evening, students will read through their hometown newspaper with their family and complete interesting and challenging assignments to earn their Book Buck$. At the end of the week, all young participants will be rewarded with Book Buck$ they can spend thanks to the generosity of local merchants and benefactors.

There are two ways Hacienda affiliates can participate in this award-winning program. Sponsorships are welcome to help bring the program to local schools or you can donate a prize for the participants to "buy" with their Buck$. The sponsorship deadline is February 15th and a number of recognition opportunities are available to event supporters.
