A special series of free water forums are being held around the state to educate community leaders on the many aspects of the recently enacted California Comprehensive Water Package and what this package means to the state.The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA), California Latino Water Coalition (CLWC), the State of California and the Tri-Valley Business Council invite you to an informational forum on California's Comprehensive Water Package on Wednesday, June 23rd.

Free Informational Forum
Water experts, state and local representatives, local opinion leaders and the general public are invited to attend a free forum being held on Wednesday, June 23rd from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm in Hacienda at the CarrAmerica Conference Center. This informational forum will discuss the Comprehensive Water Package that was passed by the legislature and signed by the Governor last year. This historic package contains four policy bills along with an $11.14 billion general obligation bond proposal that voters will consider on the November 2010 ballot. The Pleasanton forum will include video presentations, opening remarks from Mayor Jennifer Hosterman, a Comprehensive Water Package panel with participants representing local agencies, and a question and answer session with an opportunity for public comments.
