The Museum on Main would like to invite you to paint the town with them on June 5, 2010. All proceeds from the event will benefit projects being undertaken by the Museum on Main. The Museum On Main Street is operated by The Amador-Livermore Valley Historical Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to linking the past to the future by preserving, clarifying and disseminating information about history specific to this region.

Calling All Artists
The Museum on Main is inviting artists of all levels, ages 14 and up, to participate in a daylong plein air community art event to Paint the Town on Saturday, June 5, 2010. The event will begin at 9:00 am when artists bring their supplies to the Museum on Main to receive their apron and box lunch. 

Painting Activities
Artists will then go out to paint their views of Pleasanton. Artists will return with their "wet painting" for auction between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Art becomes the property of the Museum on Main and several painting will be selected to be part of a live auction. From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm there will be a public reception and silent auction of paintings with a no-host champagne, wine and soda bar followed by a live auction at 6:00 pm.
