The Caledonian Club of San Francisco will hold its 146th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games over labor day weekend. The Games are the world's largest celtic festival.

A Grand Labor Day Weekend Event
The 146th Annual Scottish Highland Gathering & Games will be held Labor Day weekend, September 3rd and 4th. The games will be held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. Preceding the weekend's games on Friday will be the "March Under the Arch" on Main Street in Pleasanton from 5:00 to 5:30 pm with a pipe band and the U.S. Marines.

Event Highlights
Enjoy a plethora of cultural and entertainment activities at this annual event. Festivities include music featuring everything from traditional balladeers and vocal groups to Celtic Rock music, a  Highland Dancing competition, living history re-enactments, a Birds of Prey exhibit and shows, sheep dog trials, Gathering of the Clans, Heavy Event competitions, ethnic Scottish/British and American food and much more. Be sure to catch the U.S. Marine Band San Diego and more than 30 competing pipe bands from the U.S. and Canada.
