Due to increased ridership, the Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) has added two new trips to their schedule. The additional trips offer more alternative for leisure travelers and commuters alike to go between the San Joaquin and Tri-Valley areas and San Jose.

New ACE Trips
As of October 1, 2012 a later westbound trip in the morning and a later eastbound trip in the evening have been added to the current schedule. The new morning trip toward San Jose will depart from the Stockton station at 7:05 am and will pick up riders along the way in Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy, Vasco Rd, and Livermore arriving in Pleasanton at 8:18 am. The train will then continue through Fremont, Great America and Santa Clara arriving in San Jose at 9:17 am. The new evening trip, aimed at opening up the train option to commuters who get off work after 5:00 pm departs San Jose at 6:38 pm making several stops along the way, including Pleasanton at 7:31 pm, arrives back in Stockton at 8:50 pm.
