Take a tour of outstanding and unique gardens at Pleasanton homes on May 20, 2012 with the Valley Humane Society's 7th Annual Hidden Gardens of the Valley Tour. The Valley Humane Society is an animal welfare organization advocating responsible pet ownership through educational outreach and collaborative programs that enrich the bond between people and companion animals and eliminate unnecessary euthanasia.

Hidden Gardens of the Valley
The Hidden Gardens of the Valley Tour will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 10 am to 4 pm (rain or shine). This self guided tour will take participants to ten unique and outstanding gardens at private homes in Pleasanton. Make it a day with lunch downtown at Stacey's Cafe on Main or Redcoats British Pub and the restaurant will donate a portion of your bill to the Valley Humane Society.

Gardening Inspiration and Support for a Good Cause
The tour provides an excellent opportunity to gain ideas and inspirations for garden designs, fountains, flower and shrub combinations, decks, patios, gazebos, outdoor kitchens and more. Television personality Buzz Bertolero, the "Dirt Gardener," will be planted along the route to meet tour participants and answer gardening questions. Other hidden gems will be revealed along the way, including watercolor artist Pat Smith and the Animal Lover's Boutique. Tickets for the event are $35 each in advance or $40 on the day of the event.
