BIKE TO WORK DAY EVENTS
Hacienda and RIDES are celebrating Bike-to-Work Week from May 13 to May 17. As part of the week long festivities, Bike-to-Work Day is Thursday, May 16th. Take the healthy commute and join thousands of Bay Area commuters as they bike to work or to transit.
On May 16, Energizer Stations will be set up all over the Bay Area to celebrate Bike-to-Work Day. Hacienda will participate in an Energizer Station at the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station co-sponsored by Hacienda, the City of Pleasanton, Dublin Cyclery and BART. The Energizer Station will be open between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. just outside the station turnstiles. The Dublin/Pleasanton BART station sits in the middle of Interstate 580 and is easily accessed from Owens Drive on the Pleasanton side of the station and from Dublin Boulevard on the Dublin side of the station. The turnstiles leading into the station are found on the first floor immediately below Interstate 580. Hacienda cyclists who stop by will receive a free canvas tote bag, snacks and a free bike safety check courtesy of Dublin Cyclery.
