On Sunday, April 25th Hart Middle School is hosting a drive-thru Electronic Waste Recycling Fundraiser from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Lucky's Supermarket parking lot. This event is a fundraiser for the school and monetary donations are also welcome. TVs, monitors, laptops, and cell phones are free to recycle. There is a $5.00 per item fee to recycle the following electronic components: CPU's, telephones, printers, copiers, DVD or VCR players, fax machines, stereos or video games. Due to state regulations, donor names and addresses will be recorded and reported for electronic components. Businesses that co-mingle their electronic waste should provide separate donor name and address identification on each component. As an added service to the Hacienda business community, Hart's recycling partner, C&T Recycling, will pick up electronic recycling of more than 30 monitors (3 pallets) at a single location for free! Please contact Amy Burchett at (925) 570-1543 to make arrangements for this special pick up.
