    PeopleSoft Inc. has launched PeopleSoft 8, a new generation of pure Internet, best-in-class eBusiness applications offering browser-based access and open integration across enterprise boundaries. PeopleSoft 8 is completely rewritten for the Internet. The suite of applications includes Customer Relationship Management Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Financials, and Professional Services Automation as well as other industry-specific solutions.

    In addition, PeopleSoft announced availability of 59 newly developed eBusiness applications that enable collaboration and commerce with customers, employees, and suppliers.

    Prudential California Realty announced the launch of an intuitive, web-based technology platform that will make the real estate process more efficient for agents and consumers. The primary component is the WebTop, an internal Intranet site that provides agents with real-time information in one place instantly to assist clients faster and provide more accurate information without navigating multiple sites or waiting for data to download. Because the multi-million dollar system is web-based, access can be gained anywhere at anytime directly from an agent's laptop.

    ProBusiness Services, Inc. was named to San Francisco Business Times' "150 Fastest Growing Public Companies in the Bay Area" for a second consecutive year. ProBusiness' 1999 growth rate was 60 percent, according to William O'Neil & Co. ProBusiness has had an average growth rate of 50 percent over the last five years and has sustained a 90 percent client retention rate for four consecutive years.
