Whether you have a problem with your sewer or with one of the other plumbing systems within your home or business, it’s important to know that professional services are readily available when you need them. For plumbing services in Hacienda and beyond, Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Tri-Valley, at 5627 Stoneridge Drive, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of the Tri-Valley was founded last September and currently has four employees. While Mr. Rooter of Pleasanton is, by definition, a franchise, co-owner and operator David Ferguson runs it as a family business and is a third-generation plumber himself, starting in the profession working first with his uncle and then his brother. He acts as president of the company and his wife and co-owner Delice Ferguson is the secretary and treasurer.

These family ideals may have something to do with the pride Ferguson has in the quality of his work and his respect for his customers’ homes. “Honesty and integrity are what we’re going to grow this company on,” he says. “We wear clean uniforms and we bring a doormat to put by the front door so that we can wipe off our feet before we put boot protectors over our shoes. When we enter a house, we won’t track in dirt. We also never charge for overtime. We have a pricing manual that we work out of so there are no surprises. If my pricing manual says a job is going to cost a certain amount, that’s what it is going to cost the customer.”

“We provide a wide range of plumbing services serving residential, commercial, and light industrial businesses, with a specialty in drain cleaning,” he adds. “We can do video surveys of sewers, sewer line location, and trench lift sewer replacements.” A sewer video survey is a means of actually allowing a customer to look into their sewer—without all the mess. “After we clear a sewer, we can take the customer outside and show them the inside of the sewer with a camera that we send in with a cable. It’s similar to the way a doctor can examine a patient’s arteries. It gives them a really good indication of the shape their sewer is in so that we can, as a team, devise a plan, whether it’s to leave the sewer alone for now, clean it every couple of years, do a spot repair, or determine that the sewer needs to be replaced.”

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is a full-service plumbing and drain cleaning company with more than 300 independently owned franchises. Mr. Rooter is a subsidiary of the Dwyer Group Inc., a worldwide franchise-holding corporation supporting over 1,100 franchisees in the U.S. and 24 foreign countries. The Mr. Rooter Corporate offices are located in Waco, Texas.
