They combine an innovative approach to early learning with traditional values and the joy of discovery. The HeadsUp! program encourages children to become conscious of and take pride in their emerging competence. By becoming aware of the skills he or she has, a young child is better able to use them. The Hacienda center has a capacity of 256 children and includes an infant-toddler room (up to two years of age); a twos room (two to three years old); five preschool rooms (ages three through six), including a bilingual Chinese-English classroom; and a kindergarten program. There are separate outdoor play yards for every age group. The nationally-recognized design features large windows and spacious indoor play spaces. A partially-covered outdoor play area and radiant heating provide for the children's comfort, even in extreme weather.
