NU LUXURY LABELS, an online store that allows consumers to resell a variety of designer goods including handbags, jewelry, and accessories, is one of the latest companies to launch in Hacienda. The upscale online consignment store, which is also available by appointment, opened in the park in July. 
 
“We are, as our name suggests, purveyors of only the finest luxury designer handbags and accessories, and specialists in all that is pre-loved,” says Natalia Pegram, founder and CEO of NU LUXURY LABELS. “Our customers, like us, are discerning and we only consign or purchase items that we are prepared to be judged on.”
 
It was her own experience with a luxury consignment item that inspired Pegram to launch her new business.
 
“After a pretty uninspiring experience in consigning my prized Louis Vuitton handbag, I realized that I could make a difference for others looking to do the same by creating an online consignment store that really communicated with me, made me feel special, and cared for me,” she says. “As a first time consignor I wanted to be supported, reassured, and feel good about my transaction.”
 
NU LUXURY LABELS’ approach is to make sure that both consignors and customers feel pampered throughout the purchasing process.

A survey of the items currently offered by NU LUXURY LABELS reveals a plethora of highly sought after goods from designers including Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Chanel, Celine, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, and David Yurman. Perhaps the most exclusive items offered are a number of examples of the famous Hermès Birkin bag.
 
“Hermès Birkin bags are the most iconic and sought after handbag in the world, and are particularly popular in the pre-loved market. The cost of a new Birkin ranges from $12,000 to $200,000 and unless you have built up a relationship with a Hermès sales associate, you are unlikely to be offered one of these bags for sale,” says Pegram. “Hermès Birkin bags are all handmade by one fully trained craftsman and can take over 20 hours to make. Some Birkin bags have a wait list of up to six years, depending on the materials used. The bags are repairable for life, and because of the high quality are a fantastic investment piece.”
