The East Bay Leadership Council and Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce invite you to attend an upcoming meeting on September 15th featuring a special presentation on planning for a sustainable Tri-Valley water supply. The East Bay Leadership Council is a public policy advocacy organization that promotes the economic vitality and quality of life of Contra Costa County, the Tri-Valley and the San Francisco East Bay region. The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce provides exposure, access, representation and leadership for businesses large and small.

The East Bay Leadership Council in conjunction with the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce are presenting a special conversation about water supply diversification and strategies to achieve a reliable and sustainable water supply in the region.The meeting is being held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 8:15 am to 10:00 am at the Firehouse Arts Center located at 4444 Railroad Avenue in Pleasanton.
Come hear three experienced and independent panelists who will present their views regarding a report prepared for the Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) about water supply diversification. Panelists include: Newsha Ajama, PhD, Woods Institute for the Environment, Stanford University; Jerry Gilbert, Former General Manager, East Bay Municipal Utility District; and BJ Miller, Former Vice-Chairman, California State Water Resources Control Board. Zone 7 will also make a presentation regarding their work to address Tri-Valley water supply needs.
The event is free of charge and open to all but registration is requested. You do not need to be a member of the sponsoring organizations to attend.
