Hacienda Hotels Offer Travelers Comfort,
Business Amenities Whether They’re Staying Overnight or for Over a
Week Hacienda’s hotels are unique in that they have two markets to serve. With the Tri-Valley area’s proximity to tourist sites in San Francisco, Livermore wine country, and other attractions, recreational travelers come here frequently. With over 400 companies in Hacienda and even more in the Tri-Valley, the unique needs of business travelers—high-speed Internet access and a desk or other workspace, for example—must be met as well. Fortunately, it’s not necessary to look outside the park to find quality lodgings ideal for business or recreational travelers. With four different hotels offering a total of over 600 rooms, there’s a place for anyone who needs to feel at home on the road. Each of the hotel’s 145 guest rooms and 14 suites was revamped with new furniture, bedding, carpets, and more, with the lobby, lounge, and restaurant receiving similar treatment. The lobby also saw the addition of a new feature: the 24 Hour Market, which features salads, sandwiches, drinks, ice cream, and vending machine items.  Even newer is the
special bedding that is now featured in every room. Introduced this
year, the Courtyard by Marriott’s new all-white bedding includes
cottony linens, designer covers, more pillows, and thicker, more
comfortable mattresses. The Courtyard’s amenities have been designed to make life as easy as possible for all travelers, with special bonuses for those on business trips. Each room has a work desk with ergonomic chair, two-line speaker phone, complimentary high-speed Internet access, and voice mail. Rooms also feature cable/satellite TV, in-room movies, complimentary in-room coffee, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and a newspaper delivered to your doorstep Monday through Friday. For mobile computer users on the go, wireless Internet access (WiFi) is available in the hotel’s public areas. Hotel services include two meeting rooms totaling 1,250 square feet, an on-site restaurant, dinner delivery service from local restaurants, a laundry valet, and self-service laundry facilities. It's not all business, however. There are a number of great features to aid in rest, refreshment, and relaxation, including an outdoor pool, an exercise room, and even a whirlpool. Frequent guests will want to join Marriott Rewards, a program which rewards loyal customers with free stays, merchandise and services, or even frequent flyer miles. The hotel offers discounted rates to the guest who stays seven nights or longer, and discounted weekend packages for those who stay on a Friday or Saturday. The hotel provides an ideal solution for clients relocating to Pleasanton, employees involved in corporate training programs, and workers on temporary assignment.  The hotel’s 112
suites include TV and sofa-sleeper and queen-sized beds. Each suite has
complete office amenities, including two phone lines, personal voice
mail, speaker phone, copy/fax service and high-speed internet access. The creature comforts don't stop there, though. Each suite offers a full kitchen with coffee maker, stove top, full-size refrigerator, a separate bath and vanity with hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. Those who travel with a companion animal will enjoy the fact that Extended Stay Deluxe is a pet-friendly hotel. Extended Stay Deluxe also offers unlimited local phone use, guest laundry service, a 24-hour gourmet coffee bar, complimentary continental breakfast, an exercise room, outdoor pool, and a courtyard patio with barbecue grill. Four Points by Sheraton 5115 Hopyard Road (925) 460-8800 www.sheratonpleasanton.com There is excitement in the air at Hacienda’s Four Points by Sheraton. A multi-million dollar renovation is scheduled to begin in October. The hotel’s 214 oversized guest rooms will be updated, along with the facility’s lobby, meeting rooms, restaurant, and bar. A full service hotel, the Four Points provides the business traveler all they need to succeed and the recreational traveler with creature comforts. Each room, most of which have a balcony or patio, comes with either one king- or two queen-sized beds, along with features like a work desk, three phones with two separate lines, voicemail, and complimentary high-speed Internet access, bottled water, and weekday newspapers. In addition, the hotel provides complimentary wireless Internet access in the lobby and other public areas.  The Four Points
also features the fabulous Four Comfort Bed, which promises a good
night’s rest for even the most finicky sleeper. The beds include a
custom-designed pillowtop mattress set, three high thread count sheets,
a down blanket, a comforter and duvet, and five goose down and feather
pillows. There are meeting and banquet facilities and an outdoor courtyard with beautiful water fountains and landscaped gardens suitable for business meetings, weddings and parties. In all, the facility offers 17 meeting rooms totaling 7,500 square feet, with individual meeting rooms ranging from 364 to 2,330 square feet. These facilities can accommodate groups up to 300 people while the outdoor courtyard can serve up to 175 people. Full banquet catering services are available. In addition, there is an Olympic-sized swimming pool and spa. Room service and poolside service is provided by Faz restaurant and lounge, which shares the site with the hotel. The Four Points also offers a bonus points program, Starwood Preferred Guest, which allows members to earn points towards free nights at over 850 hotels and resorts around the world with no blackout dates.  Summerfield Suites A Global Hyatt Affiliate 4545 Chabot Drive (925) 730-0070 www.summerfieldsuites.com A multi-million dollar renovation of Hacienda’s Summerfield Suites was completed last October, and the hotel’s 128 one- and two-bedroom suites have never looked better. It’s clear that Summerfield Suites was designed from the ground up with modern travelers in mind and knows the needs of people in town on business. A free WiFi network is available throughout the property. One bedroom suites come with a full desk, a separate phone line with private voice mail and high-speed Internet access, private bath, TV, and a full kitchen. Two bedroom suites have two bedrooms and two bathrooms (each with its own bath and shower) and all the amenities of the one bedroom suites. The bedrooms are joined by a common living area and kitchen, saving one the cost of booking two hotel rooms.  Hotel services
include a complimentary daily hot breakfast buffet, newspaper, social
hour Monday to Thursday, a grocery shopping service, on-site movie
rental, and an on-site 24-hour convenience store. The hotel also
operates a complimentary shuttle to and from local offices. Guests can
also enjoy the hotel's SportCourt, pool, spa, extensive fitness room,
and complimentary business center.Summerfield Suites has flexible and high-quality meeting facilities that can accommodate groups as large as 75 people.
