| In 1998, Hacienda was named as a major work site for the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency's Guaranteed Ride Home (GRH) program. As a result of this designation, all Hacienda employers, regardless of the size of the company, are eligible for the GRH program. The purpose of the Guaranteed Ride Home program is to motivate people to use an alternative form of transportation by providing them with a guarantee that they will not be stranded in an emergency. Alternative transportation modes include taking the bus, train or ferry, carpooling or vanpooling, and walking or bicycling. This program is free of charge to both the employee and employer. For Hacienda businesses to offer this benefit to their employees, the business must register as a program participant. Interested employees will also be required to register as an employee participant. A complete set of enrollment forms and detailed program descriptions may be found by making the selection below. |
