Hacienda has a number of resources available for your alternative
commute.
Try our special New Rider program for a variety of free incentives.
First,
all Hacienda employees and residents may ride the local Wheels system
for
free at any time while they are employed or residing within the park.
In addition,
ACE, AC Transit, BART, County Connection, SJRTD and Tri-Delta Transit
offer free passes
for
first-time users to try their services. Last but not least, there are
several
programs and agencies dedicated to making your alternative commute
simple, affordable and convenient.
Program Overview
Hacienda sits at the junction of over eight different transit services.
If
you are interested in trying one of these services, there are a number
of
incentives to help you get started.
Free
Wheels ECO Pass
All
employees
and residents on Hacienda may obtain a free ECO Pass to use
seven days a week, 365 days a year on the Wheels system while
employed
or residing within the park. This pass provides free access
to all
local buses, BART and ACE connector services as well as use of the 70X
express bus
to and from
the Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill BART stations and Kaiser in Walnut
Creek. To obtain a free ECO Pass, good for the
entire
duration
of your employment or residency within the park, simply select the
order
option from the button below.
ACE Your Commute
Direct
access from the San Joaquin Valley is yours on the ACE commuter rail.
First-time riders can enjoy a free test drive ticket for three free
consecutive days of travel on any ACE train and connecting bus by going

Make
the AC Transit
Connection
Riders can try AC Transit's Line M TransBay Express and Line
DB (Dumbarton Bridge) TransBay Express services at a discount. Try the
first ride for free under the New Rider program. Information

You Can't Beat
BART
Are
you a first-time rider interested in a free ride on the Bay Area's most
comprehensive
rail system? Place your order to request a BART new rider
ticket.
We will send you a special invitation from BART to try their system.

County
Connection
Bus service for Central Contra Costa County serving such areas
as
Alamo, Clayton, Danville and San Ramon to name a
few. A free
one way ticket is available to first time riders. You can get service
area information and bus schedules at www.cccta.org.
Try
San Joaquin RTD's
Interregional Service Commuters from
San Joaquin Valley can travel to Hacienda in comfort and style with San
Joaquin's RTD. Free round-trip tickets are available for first-time
riders. Details on schedules can be found at www.sanjoaquinrtd.com.
Tri-Delta
Transit Delta Express
Take an express trip from Antioch, Oakley,
Brentwood,
Discovery Bay, Byron, and Mountain House to teh Tri-Valley. Tri-Delta
will give first time riders the first ride for free. Two trips meet
peak travel needs dailly. Schedule information and routing details can

Program The 511
Regional Rideshare Program
provides
expertise on the use of alternate forms of transportation and provides
innovative
programs for commute solutions. Their most popular program matches
riders
for carpools and vanpools. You can obtain a "matchlist," a list of
fellow
commuters with similar commute origins and destinations and learn all
about 511 Regional Rideshare commute assistance programs at www.rideshare.511.org.
Commuter Choice Tax
Benefit Get
to
work tax free. Commuter Choice is the federal tax law which allows
employees
and employers the ability to set aside money as a benefit or pre-tax
payroll
allocation for transit via buses, trains or ferries; or for vanpools.
The
result? Using a commute alternative saves both the employee and the
employer
