The Classical Philharmonic under the direction of Maestro Lawrence Kohl will celebate the new year with a program featuring French conert pianist Denis Pascal. A gala fundraising event is scheduled for Saturday, February 10 at Herbst Theatre in San Francisco. Local concerts are scheduled on February 9 and 11.

Concert Program
The concert's "L'espirit francais" program will include Dukas' "L'apprenti Sorcier," Satie's "Sports and Amusements," and Gunod's "Symphony Number 1 in D Major." Denis Pascal, the international star of this concert series, rounds out the program with Saint-Saens "Piano Concerto Number 2 in G Minor."

Saturday Gala
Saturday's gala performance is preceeded with the fifth annual Classical Philharmonic fundraiser held at Stars Restaurant in San Francisco. A dinner and raffle will be held at 5:00 pm at the restaurant, 555 Golden Gate Avenue.
