With gas prices reaching unprecedented heights, you could probably use some good news about your commute. The Regional Rideshare Program has made it even easier to start and keep a vanpool on the road by helping commuters get to work more economically.
Vanpool Seat Subsidy
The Regional Rideshare Program is offering a vanpool seat subsidy in the form of gas cards. The seat subsidy will provide $100 per month, with a limit of three months per van during the program year, to help cover the fare of a lost participant. The gas cards will be offered to eligible vans on a first-come, first-served basis, until the funds are exhausted.

Free Vanpool Gas Cards
New vanpools can also apply for up to $900 in gas cards. These vouchers are for new vanpools that start with a minimum of seven passengers and stay on the road for up to three, six and nine consecutive months. The vans only need to register with the Rideshare Program and provide a passenger list to qualify.

Opportunities To Ride
A  number of vanpools travel to Hacienda from all over the Bay Area. With more than 25 years experience forming over 2,000 vanpools, including a current fleet of more than 600 vanpools, the Regional Rideshare Program’s dedicated staff is here to help you with all aspects of vanpool formation. Additional rideshare resources are also available through the Regional Rideshare Program. Simply dial 511 and say "Rideshare" or access program services at www.511.org.
