Enjoy an evening on the Cowboy Express on September 29, 2007 with the Assistance League of Amador Valley. The Assistance League is a national nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through community-based philanthropic projects. The Assistance League of Amador Valley serves the Tri-Valley through hands-on volunteerism and assisting those in need through unique service projects.

All Aboard
All aboard the Niles Canyon historic steam train. Take a ride on the Cowboy Express, on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Niles Canyon Railway Station. Riders are welcome to come dressed in period clothing such as long skirts, jeans, cowboy boots and hats. Enjoy an evening riding on a historic train that will take you back to the time of the old west while enjoying food, entertainment and raffle prizes. The grand prize is a trip to San Antonio, Texas. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the Assistance League's many philanthropic activities and projects including Operation Schoolbell to help clothe Tri-Valley children and purchase teacher requested classroom books.
