Take a tour of outstanding and unique gardens at Pleasanton homes on May 17, 2009 with the Valley Humane Society's Hidden Gardens of the Valley Tour. The Valley Humane Society is an animal welfare organization advocating responsible pet ownership and is the only no-kill animal facility in the area to accept animals by private surrender.

Hidden Gardens of the Valley
The Hidden Gardens of the Valley Tour will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 10 am to 4 pm. This self guided tour will take participants to eleven outstanding and unique gardens at Pleasanton homes where the love of gardens meets the love of pets. The tour is an excellent opportunity for ideas and inspirations for your own yard and outdoor space. Also, Buzz Bertolero, the "Dirt Gardener" from KRON 4 will be available at one of the gardens for questions and conversation. After the tour, if you stop in for lunch at either Redcoats Pub or Stacey' Cafe in downtown Pleasanton and show your Garden Tour ticket to the server, a portion of your bill will be donated to the Valley Humane Society. Proceeds from the event will be used to help fund Valley Humane Society's many programs and services for animals.
