The Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council and the City of Pleasanton invite you to attend the 9th Annual Pleasanton Poetry, Prose & Arts Festival on April 17th and 18th. The Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council supports the community in providing facilities for arts activities and creating an environment where residents can pursue and enjoy a wide range of arts and cultural opportunities.

Arts Celebration
The 9th Annual Pleasanton, Poetry, Prose & Arts Festival is being held at the Pleasanton Senior Center on Saturday, April 17th and Sunday, April 18th. This two-day celebration of poetry, prose and visual arts will be filled with speakers including this year's keynote speaker Bob Jenkins, An Artist in the World. Registration is available at the door during the event.

Event Activities
There will be many informative workshops, a fine art exhibit from the Pleasanton Art League and other regional artists, and literary row where you can meet, talk and mingle with more that two dozen talented local and national authors. On Saturday, there will be a luncheon with music by Jim Steinke and an evening banquet and awards ceremony including the presentation of poetry and prose awards with reading of prize-winning poems.
