Hope Hospice invites you and your family and friends to join them for their 2nd Annual Hike for Hope. The Hike for Hope is a non-competitive event benefiting Hope Hospice; a non-profit organization serving the Tri-Valley since 1980. Hope Hospice provides specialized hospice care for patients facing a life-threatening illness and grief support to families and loved ones.

Beyond the 10K
Join Hope Hospice on Saturday, April 30th for a remembrance hike along the trails of the Sunol Regional Wilderness. Hikers can start anytime between 8:30 am and 9:30 am and can choose from an easy two mile roundtrip Little Yosemite trek or combine it with the Canyon View Trail for a  moderate three mile loop. The fee to participate is $25 before April 18th or $35 afterwards. Hikers can invite people to help sponsor their hike with pledges.

Special Remembrance
Since the hike is an opportunity to remember a loved one, each hiker is encouraged to bring a photo or momento of the person for whom they are hiking to be placed in a lanyard and worn around the hikers neck. As hikers travel on their journey, they will receive an approved packet of flower seeds to scatter as they walk or to plant at home. There will be opportunities throughout the hike for reflection and moments of silence. If you would like to walk for a loved one, the hike's website is at www.thehikeforhope.com.
