Hope Hospice invites you and your family and friends to join them for their 3rd Annual Hike for Hope. The Hike for Hope is a non-competitive event benefiting Hope Hospice; a non-profit organization serving the Tri-Valley since 1980. Hope Hospice provides specialized hospice care for patients facing a life-threatening illness and grief support to families and loved ones.

Beyond the 10K
Join Hope Hospice on Saturday, May 4th for a memorial hike in Del Valle Regional Park. Hikers can start anytime between 8:30 am and 10:30 am and can choose from an easy 2.6 mile walk or a moderate 4.4 mile hike with a moderate incline. Participants will hike along the Ridgeline and Hetch Hetchy trails which provide spectacular views of the valley, lake and surrounding hills. Both routes may be easily shortened or lengthened if desired. The hike ends at noon.

Special Remembrance
Since the hike is an opportunity to remember a loved one, each hiker is encouraged to bring a photo or momento of the person for whom they are hiking. There will be opportunities throughout the hike for reflection and moments of silence. The fee to participate is $35. Hikers can hike as an individual or as part of a team and everyone is encouraged to invite people to help sponsor their hike with pledges. If you would like to walk for a loved one, the hike's website is at www.thehikeforhope.com.
