Shepherd's Gate invites you to join them at 24 in Your Car on May 18th and 19th. Shepherd's Gate provides a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors. This special fundraising event assists in funding these important services.

24 In Your Car
Join Shepherd's Gate on Saturday, May 18th to Sunday, May 19th at 1635 Chestnut Street in Livermore for a 24 hour live-in-your-car-a-thon. The event is designed to bring awareness to the issues of homelessness and the number of homeless living in cars and vans. During the 24 hours of the event you will experience first-hand some of the challenges of being homeless and living in your car. You will hear stories from people who have experienced homelessness, be engaged by various activities, work on service projects for the homeless, and enjoy live music and discussion groups. Raise pledges from family and friends to benefit the women and children at Shepherd's Gate. To register and receive your pledge packet, please go to www.24inyourcar.com.
