East Bay Leadership Council

You are invited to join the East Bay Leadership Council's Transportation Task Force at their upcoming Transportation Forum on May 28th. The event will present the results of the Employment Analysis Report which addresses the commute patterns of Contra Costa County and the Tri-Valley.

2014 Commute Study and Transportation Forum
The Transportation Forum is being held on Wednesday, May 28th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in The California Room at 2600 Camino Ramon in San Ramon. Dr. Chris Thornberg will review the highlights of the recently released “Employment Analysis Report” that was commissioned by the Contra Costa Economic Partnership. This study identifies several interesting factors aimed at solutions for job growth opportunities, transportation planning and goods movement in our region.

Panel Discussion
Additional development of the ideas presented in the report will occur through a discussion panel. The panel presentation will feature: Christopher Thornberg, Ph.D., Beacon Economics (authors of the study), Randy Iwasaki, Executive Director, Contra Costa Transit Authority, Arthur (Art) Dao, Executive Director, Alameda County Transportation Commission and Tom Terrill, Executive Director, Contra Costa Economic Partnership.
