You are invited to join Cleantech Open, i-GATE Innovation Hub, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories on March 18th to learn about the 2014 Cleantech Open accelerator program and how the National Laboratories are impacting the cleantech industry. The goal of the event is to showcase the technology and innovation taking place locally to entrepreneurs and investors from the Bay Area.

Showcasing Technology and Innovation to Entrepreneurs and Investors
Come hear US Congressman Eric Swalwell speak about the importance of cleantech R&D. Next is a fireside chat with Larry Kelly (Band of Angeles investor and seasoned CEO), and Peter Freeman (Keiretsu Forum’s Cleantech Investment Committee Chair), on how to get angel investments. You will also hear from an expert panel moderated by Brandon Cardwell, Vice President of i-Gate Innovation Hub. Each will discuss how national laboratories, universities, entrepreneurs and support organizations are working together to develop new clean technologies and take them to market quickly. You will also learn about the 2014 Business Accelerator and how to accelerate your cleantech startup with expert training, national visibility, and investor engagement, and up to $200,000 in cash and services awarded. Even if you do not have your own cleantech company there will be great networking opportunities. The event will include information about how you can get involved as a Cleantech Open volunteer, mentor, judge, investor and more. Following the presentation, the National Laboratories and i-GATE will host a reception and technology showcase on Solar, Hydrogen, Transportation, Energy and Energy Storage.

This event is being held on Tuesday, March 18th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Sandia National Laboratories located at 7011 East Avenue in Livermore. The event is $15 online or $20 at the door.
