MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR PLEASANTON FESTIVAL

Make a Difference

Come join the festivities at the Make a Difference for Pleasanton Festival. Produced by Make A Difference, Today & Always, this special community event is co-sponsored by the City of Pleasanton, the Community of Character Coalition, Tri-Valley YMCA, and ACCUSPLIT Make A Difference Projects. The event is free of charge and will feature information on local volunteering and service opportunities for the community.

Make a Difference
On Saturday, January 13, 2018 the public is invited to the Make a Difference for Pleasanton Festival, being held from 10:00 - 2:00 pm at the Pleasanton Library Community Room, 400 Old Bernal Road in Pleasanton. More than two dozen non-profit organizations will have booths set up with information on how you can “Get Connected & Stay Connected” with your community through volunteer service for adults, families, and teenagers. The festival is free of charge and all are welcome.

Event and Registration Features
Make A Difference for Pleasanton will allow you to find out all about different organizations working in the community. A complete list of participating organizations can be found at: www.MakeADifferenceForPleasanton.org. Visitors will be encouraged to sign the “50/50 Pledge”:  “I pledge to spend at least 50 hours in community service, and to spend 50 more hours with my family in the next year.” They can also sign the historic banner from the very first local Make A Difference Festivals sponsored by the Pleasanton Unified School District. Organizations wanting to register can do so at: http://mad4p.org/festival/. Registration is $60, and covers table and chairs, and lunch for two individuals. There are only a limited number of spaces for organizations so early registration is recommended.
