Enjoy a special evening of entertainment in support of the Discovery Counciling Center's Anti-Bullying Campaign. Bullying is widespread and perhaps the most underreported safety problem on American school campuses. Once thought of as simply a rite of passage or relatively harmless behavior that helps build young people's character, bullying is now known to have long-lasting harmful effects, for both the victim and the bully. Discovery Counseling Center is a non-profit organization in Danville that provides a number of programs for the community and schools in the San Ramon Unified School District.

Event Overview
On Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Village Theatre in Danville, Discovery Counseling Center will be presenting the third annual Evening of Music and Laughter starring Nashville recording artist, singer/songwriter Paul Jefferson. Opening the show will be the very talented local comedian, Andrew Hill. A special guest performance is also anticipated. Start the evening at 6:30 pm with a complimentary wine and dessert reception followed by peformances at 7:30 pm. Funds from this event will help Discovery Counseling Center to expand their highly-regarded anti-bullying program to more schools in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. With a successful event, over 2,000 4th and 5th graders will be able to participate in Discovery’s powerful and effective anti-bullying course.
