WHEELS PASS RENEWAL
All Hacienda employees and residents may ride the entire Wheels system for free by obtaining a Hacienda ECO Pass. As of July 1, 2014, an updated ECO Pass will be required for Hacienda employees and residents to board Wheels buses free of charge. Beginning June 16th, Hacienda will be distributing new ECO Pass stickers to current pass holders with active Hacienda employee or resident accounts. On receipt, simply cover the old sticker with the new sticker to maintain pass validity for the coming 2014/2015 service year through June 2015. If you are not currently a pass holder and would like to take advantage of this outstanding commute benefit, simply follow the ordering directions below.
Hacienda Account Verification
In order to receive a renewal sticker, you must have a valid Hacienda employee or resident account. It is very important that all current pass holders check their online user account to make sure that they are currently being shown as either an active employee or resident and that their contact information is correct. To verify your account status, simply go to www.hacienda.org and log into your Hacienda account. Once logged in, check the Member Home page to review your validated account type or types under the heading User Profile. If the listing under User Profile does not show you as holding either a current employee or resident account, you will need to upgrade your account by following the directions below. Please note that the establishment of an employee or resident account requires a separate step from the creation of a general user account. If you have not already activated this part of your account, you should do so immediately to ensure delivery of your updated sticker. Details on setting up employee or resident accounts are found below.
Receiving Renewal Stickers
You can easily check if you are currently on the list to receive a new 2014/2015 Hacienda ECO Pass sticker by reviewing your order history on your online account. After going to the Member Home page, select View Requests from the menu to the left. If the listing of your Hacienda orders shows Special Offers - Wheels ECO Pass your renewal sticker will be issued automatically. If you have an active Employee or Resident account, but no Special Offer - Wheels ECO Pass request is showing in the View Requests listing, you must follow the steps below for Obtaining your Pass for the First Time, to request a new ECO Pass.
Your Hacienda User Account
We invite you to customize your Hacienda account to gain access to the many special features on our site. Simply go to www.hacienda.org and select Log In at the top of any Hacienda web site page. To gain access to special user features available to Hacienda affiliates, Click on "Create an Account" link, then on the next page complete all required fields, and scroll down the page and select the box of the type of account you would like to create (Employee, Resident, Business, Owner, Vendor) and select the blue Register button. Complete the details on the following page related to the type of account you are creating, ie. choose your employer or residence from drop down menu, and select the blue Complete Registration button. Once submitted, your account will be verified and a confirming e-mail sent indicating that your account has been activated. Once activated, you will have complete access to all of the special features available to your account type.
Pass Renewal Procedure for Employees
If you have an active employee account on our website, and are a current ECO Pass holder, your sticker will be processed and will automatically be sent to your business address between June 16th-27th. However, if you have not verified that you have an active Employee account, renewal stickers will not be automatically sent out. If you are a current ECO Pass holder and have not received your new sticker after verifying delivery with your company's mail distribution network by June 30th, please contact the Hacienda Owners Association by phone at (925) 734-6500 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Pass Renewal Procedure for Residents
If you are a Hacienda resident at Archstone, Avila, Siena, or Verona, and have an active resident account on our website, and are a current ECO Pass holder, your sticker will be processed and will automatically be mailed to your Hacienda address between June 16th-27th. However, if you have not verified that you have an active Resident account, renewal stickers will not be automatically sent out. If you are a current ECO Pass holder and have not received your new sticker by June 30th, please contact the Hacienda Owners Association by phone at (925) 734-6500 or by email at email@example.com.
Obtaining your Pass for the First Time
If you currently do not have a Hacienda ECO Pass and are interested in obtaining one, simply create an online valid employee or resident account, then use our online ordering system. Passes can be ordered online from Hacienda's web site at www.hacienda.org/specialoffer/details/wheels%20eco%20pass. All passes must be delivered to a Hacienda business or residence address.
Wheels Service Area
Wheels buses connect the Tri-Valley area to locations throughout Hacienda. Wheels buses also meet each incoming ACE and BART train during the peak commute hours to shuttle Hacienda employees to their businesses and residents to the respective stations. Wheels 70X I-680 express bus service provides a direct link for people commuting between Hacienda and the Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area. Wheels schedules can be viewed online at: www.wheelsbus.com.
