Join the Museum on Main for its annual Brothels, Bar Rooms & Bandits fundraiser and return to the time when Pleasanton was considered to be "one of the most desperate towns in the West." The event is being held on August 7th and all proceeds will benefit projects being undertaken by the Museum on Main.
The Museum on Main invites you to visit the Pleasanton of old with them on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the Pleasanton Senior Center. Enjoy an evening eating, drinking, gambling, dancing, enjoying stage entertainment and making merry along with silent and live auctions. Dressing up in period attire for 1890 is encouraged and a prize will be awarded for the best costume.
Tickets are on sale now for $40 per person. Admission includes dinner and your first round of gaming bucks. The Museum On Main is operated by The Amador-Livermore Valley Historical Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to linking the past to the future by preserving, clarifying and disseminating information about history specific to this region.
