The Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Pleasanton invite you to join them in the Healthy Habits Challenge from August 9th through September 9th. The Healthy Habits Challenge will engage businesses, individuals and families in a 30-day challenge to help you live healthier, happier, more productive lives. Help brand Pleasanton as one of the healthiest places to live, work and raise a family.

Challenge Yourself

The challenge is this: adopt one new healthy habit and practice it for 30 days. In turn, watch as these healthy habits help: increase personal and workplace productivity, prevent chronic conditions that are often the result of poor habits and beat back the rising costs of healthcare. People of all ages and companies of all sizes are invited to commit to something healthy for up to 30 days. You can sign up for the Challenge online at: www.pleasanton.org/healthy-habits.html.

Kick-Off and Wrap

The Challenge will kick off at the August 8th joint mixer with the Pleasanton Downtown Association at Barone's. After the Challenge concludes, the Chamber of Commerce will hold a half-day healthcare conference to showcase "Challenge" success stories, recognize Pleasanton based companies in the fields of medicine and health, and engage industry professionals in discussion about managing change under health care reform.
