Meals on Wheels of Alameda County invites you to ride with them at the 10th Annual Meals for Wheels Ride. Meals on Wheels of Alameda County supports the delivery of over 2,200 meals to homebound seniors every weekday across the county. The Wheels for Meals Ride raises money through registration and rider solicited fundraising to care for seniors in Alameda County.

Wheels for Meals

The 10th Annual Wheels for Meals Ride is being held on Saturday, October 26, 2019. The ride begins at Shadow Cliffs Regional Park, 2500 Stanley Boulevard in Pleasanton, and travels through the Livermore Valley vineyards. There are three routes to choose from offering rides for people of all levels: a family friendly 15 mile route, great for kids and beginners; a 35 mile route for those who are looking for more of a challenge; and a strenuous 70 mile route with steep climbs and fast descents, perfect for an experienced cyclist. All of the routes are fully supported with SAG vehicles, well stocked rest stops, route markings and cue sheets.

Registration

The ride is limited to 1,200 riders. On-site registration is available the morning of the event if spaces are still available. All riders will be treated to a post-ride barbecue with music, booths, massage and refreshments.
