SIGNIFICANT NEW TENANT ACTIVITY, ACCOMPLISHMENTS HIGHLIGHT HACIENDA'S FOURTH QUARTER
PLEASANTON, Calif. — Hacienda has seen a steady increase in occupancy over the last year and the park's tenants have been busy growing as well. New tenant arrivals come from a variety of industries and are reflective of some of the stronger clusters found in the area. In addition, expansions within the park from existing tenants have also occurred.

Here’s a summary of just some of what has gone on in Northern California’s largest mixed-use development in the past three months:
Clarity Medical Systems, based in Hacienda, has been awarded two patents related to technology in the company’s latest offering, HOLOS IntraOp, a device for refractive cataract surgery. The first patent, number 8454162, regards the capture and display of high-accuracy continuous streaming, real-time refractive wavefront measurements during vision correction procedures, including overlaying data on a live image of the patient’s eye.
“We believe this unique capability will provide the opportunity to deploy HOLOS to help ophthalmologists more rapidly and efficiently measure the patient’s refractive state during vision correction procedures, including assisting surgeons as a refractive guidance tool intraoperatively,” said Clarity president and CEO Keith Mullowney.
The second patent, number 8506083, details the attachment of the compact HOLOS wavefront sensor onto a surgical microscope. Full press release:
In a recent publication, industry analysts IDC Health Insights evaluated all major CRM solution providers for life sciences and named Veeva Systems as a leader. The report states, “Veeva’s CRM software scored extremely well in this IDC MarketScape, with Veeva positioned in the Leaders category. Adept Technology, Inc., headquartered in Hacienda, recently introduced a number of primary and secondary food packaging robots and peripherals which are designed specifically to help food processing companies to meet new government safety and sanitation mandates, lower labor costs, and future-proof packaging lines.
