HACIENDA ABSORPTION REMAINS ON STRONG TRACK
THROUGH FIRST THREE QUARTERS OF 2015
PLEASANTON, Calif. — Hacienda is reporting continued strength in its market with year-to-date net absorption totaling nearly 90,000 square feet of space at the end of the third quarter. The third quarter results are consistent with the steady trend of positive net absorption seen since the end of 2010. The park is the largest mixed-use development of its kind in Northern California.
“2015 has been a great year so far,” said James Paxson, Hacienda’s general manager. “Both new arrivals and expansion activity have been strong during the first three quarters. We are also seeing a very high level of construction activity for new projects and improvements to existing projects for new tenants.”
Major leases and acquisitions in 2015 have been initiated by companies in a variety of business segments, including Gap Inc. (Consumer Goods), SmartZip (Real Estate Services), Party City (Retail Trade), Diebold (Business Services) and First American Title (Title Services). A number of large construction projects, related to recent tenant activity, are currently in progress in Hacienda. Work is under way on improvements for the Rosewood Commons facility, Axis Community Health, and a project for the Tenet/John Muir joint partnership. The recently approved Summerhill residential project will see construction commence in just a few weeks for 94 quality for-sale units which will join the Anton Hacienda and two Essex mixed-use residential projects that are currently under construction.

Projects and Tenants
