Wheels ECO Pass
One of Hacienda's key commuting benefits is the ECO Pass the park issues which allows all of the park's employees and affiliated residents to ride the local Wheels buses for free seven days a week, 365 days a year. Operated by the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), Wheels plays a vital role in providing transportation and mobility options for those who do not drive, either by choice or necessity. Wheels connects people to work, school, medical appointments, and to recreational opportunities.
Wheels are Your Free Wheels to Get Around
ECO Passes entitle the bearer to a free ride to and from work, or to and from home for residents, on all Wheels lines. Wheels buses connect the Tri-Valley area to locations throughout Hacienda. Wheels buses also meet each incoming ACE and BART train during the peak commute hours to shuttle Hacienda employees to their businesses and residents to their respective stations. During off-peak commute hours Wheels shuttles passengers to and from the BART station as well as other destinations in the Wheels service area seven days a week. In addition, Wheels I-680 Express bus service provides a direct link for people commuting between Hacienda and Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek.
Qualifications
In order to qualify for the discount, applicants need to be either an employee within Hacienda or a resident within one of the following Hacienda residential communities: Andares, Anton Hacienda, Avana Stoneridge, Avila, The Galloway, Park Hacienda, Siena, or Verona. Passes are non-transferable and pass-holders may be required to present a photo identification to the bus driver upon boarding the bus. Offer specifics along with redemption information follows. You can verify that you have a valid account by selecting the Welcome button at the top of any page on the site and then Home. The list of valid roles will appear on the right. You can add or modify your user roles by selecting Manage from the account menu.
