HEART WALK

The American Heart Association invites you to participate in their 17th annual Start! East Bay Heart Walk. Join fellow Hacienda tenants Robert Half International, ADP, Kaiser Permanente and Shaklee as well as over 100 East Bay corporations and 4,500 of their employees, families and friends who will come together to participate in a 5K non-competitive walk to raise lifesaving dollars. The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke."

2009 Start! East Bay Heart Walk

Help support the fight against cardiovascular diseases and stroke and join in a local Heart Walk. On Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm a Heart Walk will be held at Snow Park in Oakland, and on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am a Heart Walk will be held at the Danville Livery and Mercantile. Start! is the American Heart Association's program which encourages all Americans to take up walking and other healthy habits as part of their daily routine to live longer, stronger lives. Heart disease and stroke are the number one and three killers of women and men.

Participation

There are many ways to participate in the event. You can walk yourself or sponsor a walker, volunteer your services or become an event sponsor. To register for the event or get additional information, please visit www.EastBayHeartWalk.org.
