The Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) is hosting an informational forum for employers and industry partners interested in engaging with the district’s innovative Youth Apprenticeship Programs in Cybersecurity and Robotics. Employers are invited to attend, learn more, ask questions, and explore ways to support and strengthen Pleasanton’s future workforce.

Forum on Youth Apprenticeship

As a local business in the Pleasanton community, companies in Hacienda have a unique opportunity to participate in career awareness and exploration activities or to engage in career preparation and training activities with PUSD students! Join in for a morning of networking and discovery as PUSD shares details about Pleasanton Unified School District Cybersecurity and Robotics Youth Apprenticeships. Employers and other partners are invited to learn about available apprenticeship programs in Cybersecurity and Robotics. These programs offer real-world talent development solutions for local employers while providing students with hands-on experience, academic credit, and industry-recognized credentials. The forum will highlight how the apprenticeship model works, share early success stories, and outline opportunities for businesses to participate or help expand the program across the Bay Area.

Event Details

The Forum on Youth Apprenticeship will take place on Wednesday, December 17, from 8:00 - 9:30am at the PUSD District Office Board Room, 5758 West Las Positas Boulevard, in Pleasanton. Light refreshments will be served and space is limited.
