The Livermore Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Tri-Valley Nonprofit Alliance and Visit Tri-Valley, will be hosting the third annual Women in Business Symposium. The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is an organization committed to improving the economic climate and quality of life in Livermore and the Tri-Valley.

Event Details

Everyone is invited to participate in the Livermore Chamber's Women in Business Symposium on Thursday, March 26th from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at the Bankhead Theater, 2400 First Street, Livermore. This premier event will allow attendees the opportunity to network and will commence with 60 minute breakout sessions hosted by prominent women business leaders in the Tri-Valley. The breakout session topics include: Science & Innovation, Leadership & Personal Growth, Local Government Connections, and Career Path Opportunities.  A panel discussion that will address the challenges, obstacles and solutions that face women in today's business world will follow. The panel will feature: Stephanie Beasley, Sandia National Laboratories; Catharine Baker, Hoge Fenton; Reena Gupta, Mom Relaunch; and Kim Damiani, Summit Financial. The panelists will discuss their experiences in getting to where they are in business today through a discussion moderated by Visit Tri-Valley's Robin Fahr. In addition, insights, strategies, and solutions will be shared by the event's featured speakers: Jill Buck, Founder & CEO of Go Green Initiative; and Sheila Young, Owner of Diva Dazzle and Author of Strands of Faith: Conditioned by Courage, Hope and Self-Love!
