Packet Fusion is a cloud consulting company that enables customers to navigate the complexities of meeting ever-changing demands on their businesses, become more agile, and control costs. The company does this by helping customers connect the dots to the cloud by finding the right tools to unify their communications, from voice to voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) to contact center and collaboration. Packet Fusion's deep expertise allows it to help customers become more agile while reducing costs.
"We don't just help them procure a cloud solution, we ensure that their applications, LAN, and WAN are all compatible with the cloud," says Chief Executive Officer Matt Pingatore. "We also provide end-user and admin training which increases adoption, so our customers get the best return on their investment."
There are many cloud-based solutions available; selecting the right solution can be confusing. Packet Fusion acts as a reliable advisor to recommend the best solutions for its customers' business goals and as a partner to train and support customers after the sale. The company's excellent customer service is among the many reasons that Cloud Technology Insights Magazine recognized Packet Fusion in November as one of the top 10 cloud communications consulting companies of 2019.
"We are thrilled to have been selected, but we're especially pleased that we were recognized for doing what we love, helping customers navigate the complexities of moving to the cloud so they can be more agile and competitive," notes Pingatore.
Recently, for example, Packet Fusion helped a local company figure out the best contact center solution. The company's engineering team is trained and certified in top industry solutions. When Packet Fusion officials first met with the customer, it was about to select a solution that was a poor choice for its needs. Packet Fusion conducted a needs analysis, told the customer about the solutions available, and recommended the best-fit solution. "It's exciting because it's really going to change the way they do business," he says.
In 2015, Packet Fusion moved its Pleasanton headquarters to a class A office space in Hacienda with a warehouse and loading dock. The company also has offices in Irvine and Austin,Texas. Twenty-five employees work at the Hacienda headquarters.
"The tenure of our employees really sets us apart," says Pingatore, who has been with Packet Fusion for 30 years. "Most have been with us for at least 10 years and many of them much longer, which is not typical in technology. The reason is that we have a great culture, believe in and empower our team to do what's right for our customers, and provide opportunities to grow."
The company and its employees have supported several charities and organizations in need of better communications tools. Packet Fusion has provided new phone systems to a variety of beneficiaries over the years. They include Meals on Wheels and the St. Anthony Foundation.
