Quality Food on the Go is the Goal of Hacienda's New Run - Burger - Run

John Swanson, manager of Run - Burger - Run, has over 18 years of experience in the restaurant industry.


Good quality at a low price is a recipe for success in any business, and it's also the goal of Hacienda's latest restaurant, Run - Burger - Run. 

"All our food is cooked to order," says John Swanson, manager. "We try to take time for each individual customer." 

Despite the increased attention to detail, prices are inexpensive. 

"Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't take a lot of extra money to keep the quality there it takes time and attention," he explains. "People want to get lunch for under $5, and they can do that here." 

The new restaurant is Run - Burger - Run's second location, joining one in Pacheco. The company was founded in 1991. 

Renovation Location
Their location at 5681 Gibraltar Drive in the Hacienda Plaza has been extensively renovated in past weeks. 

"We've done a lot of work in the restaurant and the kitchen," explains Swanson. "All the tables and chairs have been redone, as well as the front counter, and we have new grills as well." 

A Varied Menu
The menu has all the items you would expect, but there are some surprises as well. 

Of course you'll find hamburgers and cheeseburgers. In addition, there are bacon cheeseburgers, a "bull's eye" cheeseburger with barbecue sauce, a sourdough cheeseburger, as well as chicken sandwiches. 

Some items you might not expect are a teriyaki chicken bowl, egg rolls, fish and chips, and corn dogs. 

Run - Burger - Run also features breakfast served all day, including four different breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and French toast. 

The menu also includes milkshakes made with Berkeley Farms ice cream. 

Bargain hunters will enjoy Run - Burger - Run's specials, which include kid's meals and special "Burger Bags" which offer five burgers at a discounted price. 

Run - Burger - Run is open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, call (925) 460-0571.
