The annual Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 7, beginning at 1pm on Main Street, Pleasanton. A post parade ceremony will be held at 2pm at the Veterans Memorial Building (301 Main Street), and will feature live, patriotic music and free ice cream. This year's parade is dedicated to the Pleasanton Military Families Support Group, which has provided support to the local military community for more than 20 years. More than 50 entries will be featured in this year’s parade, including various military vehicles, the Foothill High School Marching Band, local scout troops, and equestrian teams. The parade and ceremony are organized and hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6298, American Legion Post 237, and the Major General William F. Dean Chapter of the Association of the United States Army.
