In addition to its robust telecommunications, power, and water infrastructure, Hacienda offers tenants truly outstanding transportation choices. Thanks to an ideal location at the junction of the I-580 and I-680 freeways, Hacienda tenants and their employees can choose among convenient train, bus, and BART services. A customized Commute Resource Center helps employees and residents choose the best transit option, while ample parking is available for those who drive.
More than 30 cafes, restaurants, and specialty dining opportunities are located within Hacienda. Additionally, historic Downtown Pleasanton features a number of fine dining restaurants located minutes away.
Hotel accommodations are also plentiful at Hacienda. Onsite lodging choices include the 216-room Sheraton Four Points and the 145-room Courtyard by Marriott. Two extended stay facilities are also available: the 128-room Hyatt house and the 113-room Extended Stay Deluxe Pleasanton. Additional lodging can be found at the nearby Hilton Hotel, Wyndham Garden Hotel, and Holiday Inn for a total of more than 1,200 hotel rooms within a mile of Hacienda.
The wealth of hotels at Hacienda provides a variety of facilities for conferences and business meetings. Additional resources include Pleasanton’s Firehouse Arts Center, the Alameda County Fairgrounds, and the Blackhawk Country Club. These include the Pleasanton Outpatient Center, a 92,000-square foot facility that offers care from specialty physicians as well as general practitioners. Lab and imaging services, urgent care, and other services are also available at the center, which is a joint venture of John Muir Health and San Ramon Regional Medical Center.
Hacienda is also home to a variety of ValleyCare medical facilities, including ValleyCare Outpatient Offices, ValleyCare Women’s Imaging Center, and ValleyCare Diabetes and Weight Loss Center. Health professionals at Hacienda include specialists in allergy and asthma, sports medicine, orthopedics, bodywork, pediatric cardiology, and dermatology.
The Axis Community Health facility at Hacienda provides affordable medical and mental health services for Tri-Valley residents. In addition, the Hacienda Surgery Center supports general surgical procedures as well as surgeries that involve gastroenterology, gynecology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, podiatry, urology, and more.
The ValleyCare Medical Center and a 120,000-square-foot Kaiser Permanente facility are located less than a mile outside of Hacienda. The ValleyCare Medical Center includes a broad range of medical care including 24-hour emergency services. Kaiser Permanente Pleasanton Medical Offices offer a broad range of services, including a pharmacy.
Pleasanton's temperate climate, which has a mean daily minimum temperature of 42 degrees and a mean daily maximum of 73 degrees, invites outdoor activities. More than 12 acres of parks, located in the heart of Hacienda, offer many opportunities to enjoy the excellent weather.
Creekside Park, for example, offers a 6.6-acre open lawn for activities such as soccer and softball as well as basketball and volleyball courts. Joggers and runners will appreciate Hacienda’s 2.3-mile, 18-station outdoor parcourse. The 32-mile trail Iron Horse Regional Trail for walkers, runners, and cyclists runs through Hacienda, connecting the Hacienda BART station to Santa Rita Road in Pleasanton.
Golfers can choose from two world-class private courses, the Jack Nicklaus-designed Ruby Hill Golf Club course and the Castlewood Country Club golf course. Public courses include Pleasanton Fairways, Canyon Lakes, Sunol Valley, Poppy Ridge, Las Positas, and The Course at Wente Vineyards.
A 24-Hour Fitness facility and several specialty fitness clubs are available at Hacienda, and Northern California’s largest health club, Club Sport-Pleasanton, is only a mile away. Nearby is the 105-acre Pleasanton Sports & Recreation Park, featuring batting cages; a skateboard track; a youth play area; and fields for baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. The Pleasanton Tennis and Community Park, just blocks away from Hacienda, has 10 tennis courts for public use. The city is also home to the Dolores Bengtson Aquatic Center, with four pools featuring recreational and competitive swimming and diving.
Pleasanton has thousands of acres of parks, ranging from small neighborhood playgrounds to the more than 5,000-acre Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park, which offers miles of multipurpose trails for hikers, equestrians, and cyclists. Also located in Pleasanton is Shadow Cliffs, a former gravel quarry converted into a 296-acre park with an 80-acre lake.
