PLEASANTON, Calif. — Hacienda has once again been named one of the Best Workplaces for Commuters in 2022 for offering exceptional employee-provided commuter benefits that meet the National Standard of Excellence criteria. “Hacenda is one of the top locations in the nation named as a Best Site for Commuters," said Julie Bond, Program Manager, Best Workplaces for Commuters. "They provide outstanding commuter benefits that help positively impact commutes to and from their site."

Hacienda has been repeatedly recognized under the Best Workplaces for Commuters program as a Best Site. Locations so designated must provide a suite of commuting benefits to a specific area and collection of businesses and, in Hacienda's case, residential communities as well. “We are pleased to have received this recognition again in 2022,” noted James Paxson, Hacienda's general manager. “The national standard of excellence originally promulgated by US EPA provides a benchmark of quality in commuting programs that we strive to meet and exceed. We believe that our employees and residents have a fundamentally better working and living experience as a result of these programs. As people's lives have evolved over the last two years with the pandemic, these programs take on an added importance. We will continue our efforts to broaden the offerings we make to retain the distinction bestowed in meeting the national standard of excellence represented in the Best Workplaces for Commuters program.”

The Best Workplaces for Commuters program offers designated organizations access to a range of support services to assess and promote non-driving commuting of employees, including organizational assessment and implementation tool-kits, web-based tools and webinars, staff training, and information exchange. “We are extremely proud about our progressive commuter benefit program that saves employees time, money and stress” said Julie Bond, Program Manager, Best Workplaces for Commuters. “Excellent commuter benefit programs may reward these companies not just with a national designation, but buoys workplace productivity, customer loyalty and brand recognition in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”
